HAB: High Altitude Ballooning

HAB projects (not Apex) listed here.

This section is for HAB related work and developments that are not part of the Apex project, for example work done with and for CU Spaceflight, of which I am a member.

• Ferret: a quick high altitude balloon tracker knocked up in an afternoon for a balloon launch (Project Orion) launched on 07/03/10 from Churchill College, Cambridge.
• Joey: part of the Wombat project by CU Spaceflight, using a Micrel MICRF112 ISM band 434MHz radio, uBlox6 GPS and Atmel AVR.
